What IS a Baby Shower?
Traditionally, it's a party where a pregnant lady's family and friends 'shower' her with gifts - but many people have a baby shower when their baby's born.
When is the best time to hold a Baby Shower?
During pregnancy, around month 7 is ideal as by then you have a good idea of what you want and need to buy. After month 8 you may feel too tired but if someone else is hosting the party for you, this needn't be a problem
Is it for women only?
Absolutely not - anyone can celebrate a new baby and new dads may have their own views on the gifts you buy! Why not invite couples as it can be fun watching men play the games.
Does the party have to be held in an afternoon?
Your party can be anytime you choose. If you want an afternoon, an evening or even first thing on a Sunday morning, we'll do our best to accomodate your needs.
Will the mum know what I've bought her or can I give it to her myself when I'm ready?
All gifts bought from a party are delivered to the hostess rather than to individual addresses to keep costs down - we don't charge for delivery. Orders are delivered in sealed boxes, though, so you can ask the mum not to peek!
All web sales are delivered direct to the address given by you so you can chose whether it goes direct to mum or not
Can you supply extras like invites?
Yes, we can supply invites, thank you cards, decorations and even disposable plates - just ask for more details.
How does the wish list work?
Usually, we visit the mum-to-be or new mum a couple of weeks before the party to give her the time to choose what she needs, wants and loves from our beautiful selection of products for her and baby. If the party is being hosted by someone else as a surprise, then we visit the party host and select the new mum's gifts at the party.
When do I pay for the party package?
Payment is due 14 days before the party, when we meet to select the wish list.
How are gift orders paid for?
Payment can be made by all major credit/debit cards, cash or cheque. We can accept cash on delivery when ordered at a party
Can children attend a baby shower?
Yes, they are welcome to join in the fun if you want.
What if my party doesn't reach its' sales target (only applies to packages 2 & 3)?
Don't worry: the only thing affected is your free gift. Apart from that, nothing changes and there are no hidden costs - guaranteed. You'll still have had a fantastic, fun-filled party! The games will have been played and prizes won, you'll still get your discount on your next order and we'll still aim to deliver your order within 10 working days.
What happens after the gifts are delivered?
You are welcome to call or email our after sales team with any questions or concerns you may have. When you reach your due date, we will contact you and offer you our 'personal shopper' service in case there's any product you have forgotten to buy or would really love now you've had the baby. We'll do our best to supply it for you to save you the time trawling around shops!
