Bump2Bounce is my baby! I'd known for ages how popular baby showers are in the US and Australia and kept reading about celebrity baby showers but the first one I went to was one arranged for my sister by her best friend. We had a wonderful time and everyone brought presents that my sister had put on her wish list, a bit like a wedding list.
When I was expecting my son, I decided to have a baby shower too but couldn't find anyone who could arrange one. So I organised my own which was a great success and I realised that there are lots of women like me, who want to share fun and laughter with their friends before their world changes in such a big way. I also wanted to go one step further by supplying a range of personally sourced, beautiful products and gifts for mums and babies. I realised that family and friends always want to give a gift that is needed, wanted or simply loved and, being a mum myself, have put together a fabulous product range that can't be bought on every high street. The person having the baby shower chooses their wish list and these are the products we bring to the party, so that friends can see before they buy with no hard sell - just the reassurance that it's what the new mum wants.
And now, in 2010, we are taking things one more step by supplying a range of gifts for TWINS! September 2009 saw the arrival of my own twins and this inspired me to offer more to the mums out there wanting something different.
Any close friend or relative can arrange a baby shower, it doesn't have to be the new mum but either way, we're sure you'll have a wonderful time with Bump2Bounce.
